X-Ray Radiography

When X-raying an object or body, the electromagnetic waves are attenuated while traveling though the body on a straight line. The attenuation is caused by scattering and absorption effects. With good approximation, the attenutation is proportional to the density (resp. weight) of the X-rayed material.
