Lab Honor Code

The honor code is a ethical standard known mainly from US-based universities, which allows students a great deal of freedom in exams and exercises. Its main purpose is to ensure a work atmosphere that supports creativity, collaboration and fairness.

By adhering to the honor code, students are allowed to perform their exams and exercises without restrictive supervision of the staff personel. At the same time, fairness is guaranteed by the rule that any case of plagiarism or appliance misuse is reported by the students on their own free will. Because plagiarism is not fair.
